Mar 2016 Two emails in quick succession!

Last Friday I received two emails within minutes of each other which I’d like to share. One was from someone who had invited several local estate agents to value their home prior to it going on the market. The other was from a client for whom I had acted in the sale of their house recently.

The first said:

“Thank you for visiting us. We have decided to place our house with another company. There was very little to choose between you all when it came to make the final decision”.

The second said:

“Dear Stephen.
Nigel and I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your help and support during our recent house move. Without your guidance we would not have known how to manage the process of selling mine without having found another to buy, nor been brave enough to do it!

Not only did you get several viewings, three offers and a sale within the first ten days, you were at the end of the phone to give local knowledge and guidance with our purchase, even though it wasn’t through your agency! You proved beyond doubt what you promised at our first meeting with you – that you never forgot that we were your clients.

Thank you for your professionalism, honesty, support and guidance Stephen and for being endlessly positive when the going got tough.
We would unquestionably recommend Pring & Co to anyone. Nigel says you have completely changed his opinion of estate agents – in a good way! Best wishes. Wendy and Nigel”.

I did, of course, wish the writers of the first email much success with the marketing of their home and I will do my utmost to find them their next property. I hope to show them that there can be a lot to choose between estate agents as the writer of the second email alluded to.
